Sunday, December 2nd, 2007

Las Vegas does so many things well it is hard to say one thing stands out more than another. But, if I was forced to …. I would definitely pick New Years. Sin City has earned it’s nick name with years of partying practice.

Las Vegas Real Estate Bargains

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007

Are you thinking of buying a house or condo in Las Vegas?  The recent mortgage fiasco is going to make it tough on you.

The lenders that caused these problems with their own greed are now going to take it out on you. You will need a great credit score and at least 10% down to purchase a home or condo. You may also want to downsize the property you are planning on purchasing. A smaller loan may reduce your chances of being declined.  Do you really need a 4 bedroom home for the two of you. Buy a sleeper sofa for the living room if you need space for visitors.

There are currently some bargains to be had and more are sure to pop up but I personally know of some condos that are an excellent buy. What make these so special?  THE VIEW!

Most homes and condos offer a view of a block wall, carport or another condo. Of course this condo complex has some of those same views but there are many units still available that offer fantastic views of the Las Vegas Strip and city views.  Also, you need to see this view at night! Most people check out their properties during the daylight hours. You should do this but I also recommend returning at night and checking out the view. You will then decide you have found your new home :)

You will pay a premium for “the view” but after all “T’s” are crossed and “I’s” are dotted, you will have made an excellent investment.  This condo community has two pools, three spas and more amenities plus it is located in an excellent location.

Where is it you ask? If you are a serious buyer looking for a great investment, e-mail me and I will point you in the right direction.  I do own a condo in this community so I’m not just blowing smoke. I just want credit for my referral.

Thank you

Do you need an experienced and reputable Las Vegas real estate agent? Contact Laurie Belair if you are selling your Las Vegas home or condo or if you are serious about purchasing a home or condo in the Las Vegas / Henderson, Nevada area.

I have personally worked with Laurie, she is very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to work with.  You do need to be selective about your real estate agent in Las Vegas because there are many new agents with no experience.

Wednesday, June 13th, 2007

“Gluttony, glitter, girls and gambling are what [Las Vegas] is all about,” the 81-year-old rancher asserts. “What it’s all about here [in Callao] is children, cattle, country and church.” Then Garland raises a fundamental question. “Would it be crops or craps that we use our water for?”
